Barbara Sax

Barbara is an award winning artist and teacher with over 40 years’ experience. She has a BA and MA in education from Montclair State University, working in public schools in Roseland, Maplewood and Livingston and teaching privately in NJ and Florida.
She has also taught art at Cranes Mill in West Caldwell, as well as being a former docent at the Montclair Art Museum. Barbara has assisted the YMCA to develop and implement diversity projects and classes for the disabled as well as working with the Livingston Youth and Community Services (LYCS) for 8 years. She presently serves on the ACL Gallery board and is the current President of the Arts Council of Livingston.
