The Livingston Arts Association will offer fall art classes indoors at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue. Classes begin September 18 and extend through December 9. Classes are held Monday through Friday mornings 9:30 a.m. to Noon and afternoons from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. with evening classes on Tuesday from 7:15 to 9:45 pm. Children’s classes (K through 5) are Wednesday afternoons 4:00 to 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings 10:00 to 11:30 am.
Our faculty includes: Laurie Harden teaching Portraiture and Figure Drawing as well as Oil, Pastel and Acrylics on Monday and Thursday morning and afternoon. Mark de Mos teaching Watercolor, Pastel and Drawing on Tuesday morning, afternoon and evening. Evan Stuart Marshall teaching Mixed Media Abstract on Friday afternoon. Tim Maher teaching Acrylic, Oil and Drawing on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, and Barbara Sax teaching Alcohol Ink and Integrated Mixed Media on Wednesday morning and afternoon. Carol Lynn Nellen teaches classes for grades K through 5 on Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Classes will be offered in oil, acrylics, water color, drawing, abstracts, mixed media abstract, integrated mixed media. In addition to the popular Alcohol Ink class on Wednesday mornings, we have added two more classes: Drawing by Tim Maher on Tuesday afternoons and Pastels by Laurie Harden on Thursday mornings.
