Livingston Arts Association invites the public to our third artist demo of the season featuring Bill Sarnowski, a local artist. His new concept merges finger painting with oil painting, producing some dramatic results.
Mr. Sarnowski captures the beauty and essence of nature and people in his exquisitely rendered, realistic paintings. Using subtle values of light, vibrant color and harmony in related forms, Bill creates an experience for viewers to witness the natural beauty within as well as the beauty surrounding them.
A self-taught artist, Bill’s artistic talent was recognized and encouraged at an early age by his uncle, Conway Policastro, also a self-taught artist and architect. Teaching Bill about perspective utilizing values and shading, Bill’s uncle helped him to see and represent the world in all its richness.
Join us at this fascinating presentation at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue, on Sunday, December 4, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
