Livingston Arts Association is proud to present award-winning collage artist Constance Seugling, who will be demonstrating techniques in creating collage. This event will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue, Livingston, NJ.
A Cedar Grove resident, Constance Seugling is a sculptor and collage artist. She received a BA from Clarke University In Dubuque, Iowa, and when she moved to Cedar Grove, began studying sculpture under Dante deFlorio at the Yard School of Art. A sculptor for 27 years, Constance began experimenting with collage. Her collages, both two- and three-dimensional, incorporate cut paper, magazine photos and found materials. Constance has shown her work throughout the Northeast—with increasing notice—garnering many awards along the way. Though retired, she still conducts two art classes at Crane’s Mill Senior Living and is president of the West Essex Art Association.
“As an artist, I perceive that the internal spirit of my work is a development of the way my life has unfolded. Emil Zola’s quote ‘When you ask me what I came to do in this world, as an artist I will answer you: I came to live out loud’ speaks volumes to the incredible manner in which an artist can influence and be influenced by their world. The spirit and joy in my work is there because of what and who I am.”
Livingston Arts Association, Inc., is dedicated to providing classes, sponsoring exhibitions in which members display their work, hosting demonstrations and critiques by professional artists, and awarding scholarships to Livingston High School seniors. Artists of all levels are welcome to participate in all events.
This event is free and open to the public. Invite your friends. Refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you.

We would like to continue to offer these events for free to everyone. However we need to face reality. Costs for hosting these events including the hiring of demonstrators and models as well as refreshments have increased so we will be having a donation box available to help defer some of those costs. We appreciate any support you can offer to help us to continue to provide these demonstrations.
