It’s been a long year without art classes. We hope that you are well and have been able to do some painting. The Senior Center will be open for us this summer. And so, we are delighted to be able to offer summer art classes – indoor at the Senior Center. This will be a six week course beginning July 12 through August 20. Classes are limited to eight persons so call soon. According to the new state regulations, if you have received two vaccinations, masks will not be required.

We are pleased to announce that we have two new instructors, Donna Grande teaching intuitively inspired art, and Evan Marshall teaching mixed media abstracts.
Donna Grande
An accomplished and intuitively inspired artist, Donna Grande’s work is an expressive journey created with acrylics, pastels and oils.
Donna is a graduate of Montclair State University and has a design degree from F.I.T. Donna’s paintings can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the United States including the DiBernardo building, and Dai-Kichi. She has exhibited at the Capitol Building in Maine, Montclair State University, Bloomfield College, the Salmagundi Club and the National Arts Club, among others.
Evan Marshall
Award-winning artist Evan Stuart Marshall is best known for his whimsical, vividly colored mixed-media abstract paintings. His work has been featured in many juried exhibitions, both solo and group, and is held in many private collections around the world. One of Evan’s pieces was recently acquired by the renowned curator and art consultant Paige Powell (once a member of Andy Warhol’s Factory) for the MC Hotel in Montclair. His work is carried by major national online retailers, including Homesquare, Houzz, Kmart, Pier I, Sears, Walmart and Wayfair. It is also available at the ACL Art Gallery and La Vie Galerie, both in Livingston, and at online galleries including Saatchi Art and Singulart. Evan is active in several art organizations including the Livingston Arts Association, Studio Montclair and the West Essex Art Association, on whose board he serves as membership chair.
