Greetings Fellow Artists,
Your Board of Directors would like to give you an update of events with the information we know now. We have been in close contact with the town so that we can move forward with classes as soon as this is feasible.
First, we truly hope that you, your families and friends are surviving this pandemic and quarantine. Since we have not been able to hold classes for the past year, we also hope that you have been able to continue painting. It is so important for mental health to have a fun focus in these times.
Hopefully, we will be able to resume classes in the fall. It will, of course, depend upon whether the situation at that time allows for the opening of the town buildings to classes. As soon as we know for certain, we will let you know.
Some exciting news – Crane’s Mill has asked us to hold an art show in their facility. They are anticipating doing this for the month of May. We are willing to do this in keeping with the CDC guidelines. At this time we are working out the details of receiving and hanging of the artwork. We would appreciate a response from you indicating if you would be willing to participate in this show.
Also please let us know of any news you have that you would like to share with the Livingston Art Association on their webpage. Send your article to Joan Speare at joanspeare@aol.com.
Sincerely,
Joan Speare
